Workshops@Adorama Fall Registration Now Open

Workshops offered from September through December by New York's fastest-growing source for continuing photographic education.

New York, NY (PRWEB) August 9, 2007 -- Adorama Camera, Inc. (www.adorama.com), one of New York's top photo retailers, has just opened registration for the Fall 2007 session at Workshops@Adorama
(http://www.adorama.com/catalog.tpl?op=WS_List).

Started in February 2007, Workshops@Adorama consists of a wide range of hands-on picture-taking classes for snapshooters and enthusiasts, business and technical advice for professional and aspiring photographers, and inspiring presentations by some of the biggest names in the photography world.

By offering these Workshops, Adorama is serving the photographic community in ways that go beyond the traditional role of a photo retailer.
The Fall 2007 session kicks off with a one-two punch; a daylong Master Session with legendary photographer, author and teacher Bryan Peterson on Sunday, September 9, followed the next evening by a special inspiring event,
co-sponsored by Nikon, with well-known travel photographer and writer Bob Krist. In addition to over 9 new courses, 14 Workshops are being repeated thanks to popular demand.

"We're thrilled at the response to the Winter, Spring and Summer courses," notes Monica Cipnic, program director for Workshops@Adorama. "Many of our Workshops sold out early, and in some cases there are waiting lists for repeat classes. It is amazing when you consider we only started the Workshops@Adorama program seven months ago, and shows us that there is
a need in the photographic community for continuing education with top-tier instructors."

"There will be even more innovative, exciting and educational Workshops this Fall and beyond," Cipnic adds, "By offering these Workshops, Adorama is serving the photographic community in ways that go beyond the traditional role of a photo retailer."

In addition to the kickoff events, key Workshops include a panel discussion
with top photographers' reps on the business of photography, walking tours
of lower Manhattan in the fall and New York during the holidays, as well as leaf peeping in Central Park, a Lighting Boot Camp, and numerous Adobe Photoshop hands-on Workshops.

Here is a complete current listing of the Fall 2007 Workshops; more Workshops, Seminars and Special Events are expected to be added in the coming weeks. Attendees can go to http://www.adorama.com/catalog.tpl?op=WS_List for details, the most up-to-date listings, and to register.
