Peggy Li Creations Jewelry Gets "Superbad"

Peggy Li Creations handmade jewelry (http://www.peggyli.com) makes its big screen debut in hit comedy "Superbad." Peggy has previously had work on TV shows such as "Buffy, the Vampire Slayer" and "Grey's Anatomy", but this is the first time her work has been seen on the silver screen.

San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) August 22, 2007 -- The release of the hit teen comedy "Superbad", starring Michael Cera and Martha MacIsaac, has also marked the debut of Peggy Li Creations handmade jewelry on the silver screen.

Ms. Li's work has been seen previously on the small screen on TV shows such as "Grey's Anatomy" and "What About Brian?" as well as in publications like Oprah and Lucky magazines. "I'm so excited to make this leap into movies," says Ms. Li, "It's always a thrill to see your work out in public."

Examples of items used in the film are the Peace Tag Necklace, worn by Martha MacIsaac and the Tiny Apple Charm Necklace, worn by Erica Vitina Philips.

Creating and designing jewelry for over six years, Ms. Li's classic, feminine designs caught the attention of Hollywood from the start. Her work first appeared on "Buffy, the Vampire Slayer" and was used for over three seasons on the cult TV show. Since then, Ms. Li has continued to create wearable, fashionable pieces that have appeared in print and TV. Based in San Francisco, Peggy Li Creations will be participating in the San Francisco Fashion Week 2007 as a boutique vendor on August 24th.

Ms. Li hopes to continue working in both film and TV and continuing to provide elegant, wearable fashion to her fans. Look for her work to appear on the 2007-2008 season of TV's "Private Practice", the "Grey's Anatomy" spin-off. "What's really fun is to collaborate with great costume designers," Ms. Li says. "They tell me about the characters on the show and then I can create what I think will fit that character. I have total creative freedom and they can pick and choose what they want."
