Rue Melo Joins Los Lonely Boys on Tour Stops

Rue Melo will open for Los Lonely Boys on three stops of their current tour; appearing August 24 at Soboba Casino in San Jacinto, CA, September 7 at Cascade Theater in Redding, CA and September 8 at Britt Pavilion in Jacksonville, OR.

Los Angeles, CA (Billboard Publicity Wire/PRWEB ) August 22, 2007 -- Rue Melo will open for Los Lonely Boys on three stops of their current tour; appearing August 24 at Soboba Casino in San Jacinto, CA, September 7 at Cascade Theater in Redding, CA and September 8 at Britt Pavilion in Jacksonville, OR.

Joined by guitarist Martin Estrada, bassist Bryan Bush, and drummer Idris al-Mutazz Tate, Rue Melo produces a unique sound that touches popular, world and urban music and their performances are electrifying. Rue Melo has appeared at popular Los Angeles venues as The Mint, The Rox Hollywood, The Gig and Hotel Café.

Rue Melo, a multilingual ingénue, oozes raw talent in English, French and Spanish. Born and raised in Paris, France to an artistic, multicultural family -- her mother a dancer of French descent, her father an accomplished singer and guitarist from Uruguay -- Rue
Melo is a natural artist who is fearless, bold and full of life. Rue Melo will release her highly anticipated debut, self-titled album, September 18, 2007 as the first artist signed to Fighter Records.

The dynamic first single "Check It," is a hip club track that highlights the group's eclectic alternative/R&B sound. "Check It" will hit radio and video shows this Fall. Illustrating the other end of the spectrum "Fallen," another notable track, is a soulful ballad that was featured in the Showtime series "The L-word" and appears on the album in English, French ("Tomber") and Spanish ("Cayendo").
