Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) August 24, 2007 -- In response to the rapid growth in its managed data center business, DataBank announced plans today to construct a new 36,000 square foot data center in the former Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas located at 400 S. Akard in Dallas, Texas. The new center is scheduled to be operational in early October.

The new data center will boast a 24 inch raised floor and 3 megawatts of initial UPS power with N+1 emergency generator back-up. The center will be conditioned by over 1,000 Tons of Liebert cooling and protected with biometric access and 24X7 CCTV monitoring and on-site security personnel.
