Full Complement style ceramic hybrids are also being introduced to provide more protection in abusive areas such as bottom brackets. Full complement bearings have no retainer and a full complement of ceramic balls and are therefore capable of handling much heavier loads.
The Lightning Premier Ceramic Hybrid bearings are for those competitive riders that are looking for every possible advantage. Boca's Lightning Premier Ceramic Hybrid bearings have high precision, Grade 5 ceramic balls, closer ABEC 5 tolerances and high speed polymite retainers. After many requests Boca Bearings is now also carrying a limited range of Full Ceramic bearings. Full Ceramics are not recommended for off road bikes but are more suited for controlled riding environments like road and velodrome racing.
