"Hillary's Run" Makes its Debut in Inside Chappaqua Magazine

New column covers Senator Clinton's historical national campaign from the streets of her hometown.

Chappaqua, NY (PRWEB) August 28, 2007 -- In "Hillary's Run," a new department debuting in Inside Chappaqua Magazine (www.insidechappaqua.com) this September, Senator Hillary Clinton's full impact as a positive role model for girls -- whether in her hometown or beyond -- is made clear.

With this first story, "Hillary's Run" will attempt to cover the Senator's historical national campaign from the streets of her hometown and the voices within.

With a President already in the neighborhood, the potential addition of a second President, a woman, no less, could position Chappaqua certainly to become one of the most famous places in the country, if not the world.
"Chappaqua, already a town replete with historical significance, stands at the cusp of a new era," said Grace Bennett, publisher and editor of Inside Chappaqua. "With a President already in the neighborhood, the potential addition of a second President, a woman, no less, could position Chappaqua certainly to become one of the most famous places in the country, if not the world."

The debut column points out that with a resident Senator and neighbor running for first woman president of the United States, girls around the well to do suburb might be inspired to think well beyond "flaunting the trendiest Hollister tee," as one resident stated.

Indeed, Senator Clinton had this to say: "It is my hope that young women in Chappaqua--and everywhere--know that there are no limits to what they can do. The thought that my candidacy might have a positive impact on any of the young women in this wonderful community is a tremendous thrill."

The column will be penned by a variety of writers, including area residents who have been long time contributors to the magazine. The aim of the column is to keep tabs on the pulse of the campaign from the perspective of "Chappaquidians" and others in Senator Clinton's corner.

Bennett, a long-time journalist who started up the 20,000 circulation magazine five years ago, is an 11-year resident of Chappaqua.

Inside Chappaqua is a bi-monthly community merchant supported publication, with an increasing newsstand presence. Inside Chappaqua has been covering Chappaqua and the overall township of New Castle since the Clintons first arrived in the hamlet almost several years ago.
