(NYSE: ADI) today announced that Denon Brand Company has adopted ADI's SHARC® processors for the company's newest audio/video receivers (AVRs), including its flagship Denon AVR-5308CI and flagship preamplifier AVP-A1HD. In these state-of-the-art products and several other models in Denon's AVR lineup, SHARC audio processing and Denon's unique technology enable new-generation high definition audio formats in superior quality: Dolby® True HD, Dolby Digital Plus, DTS-HD Master Audio, and DTS-HD High Resolution Audio.

Loaded with features including HDMI 1.3a and Wi-Fi connectivity to make them centerpieces of high-definition home theater, the new Denon models use SHARC ADSP-21366 and ADSP-21367 processors for approved HD audio algorithms and unsurpassed 32-bit floating point performance.
