Smooth Fitness Introduces Category-Buster in Home Fitness Trainers

Smooth Fitness, the world's largest online retailer of home fitness equipment, today announced the launch of its revolutionary Agile DMT (Dynamic Motion Trainer), creating a completely new category in the fitness market that goes beyond standard elliptical machines.
We are excited to launch an entirely new category of fitness equipment - Agile training

King of Prussia, PA (PRWEB) September 17, 2007 -- Smooth Fitness, the world's largest online retailer of home fitness equipment, today announced the launch of its revolutionary Agile DMT (Dynamic Motion Trainer), creating a completely new category in the fitness market that goes beyond standard elliptical machines.

The Agile DMT is the most advanced home fitness trainer ever developed, giving users the benefit of two machines in one by featuring a standard elliptical mode and an advanced "Agile" mode. With the simple push of a button, the machine switches to a patented contra-lateral motion which targets several key muscle groups and burns more calories than a standard elliptical.

"We are excited to launch an entirely new category of fitness equipment - Agile training," said Joe Alter, President and CEO of Smooth Fitness. "The Agile DMT's unique motion strengthens and tones muscles throughout the entire body during an intense cardio workout, yet it still minimizes joint stress like traditional ellipticals."

Standard elliptical machines offer only one limited motion, while the Agile DMT offers twelve "dynamic" motions and twenty levels of intensity. Through the machine's "Triple Zone Training", coordination and balance are improved, strength training is enhanced while developing muscle tone, the cardio-pulmonary system is engaged, and the contra-lateral motion works in harmony with the body's natural movements.

The Agile DMT provides users of all heights a comfortable workout through its dynamic motion adjustment and surging stride height "point of flexion" systems. Also, patented ergonomic pivoting foot pedals reduce joint stress and eliminate the heel slap that can cause toe numbness and sore arches. Another unique innovation is the Lite Touch(TM) laser thumb control which allows the user to make adjustments without taking their hands off of the EKG pulse sensor hand grips.

The Agile DMT is available at specialty fitness equipment retailers across the country and will be supported with background information, pictures and video on www.smoothagile.com.
