DC Fashion Week Brings Diversity to New World Order of Fashion

DCFashionWeek ("DCFW") enthusiastically embraces diversity in its week-long series of shows, including such participating countries such as Kazakhstan, Argentina, South Africa, Botswana, Peru, Ghana, Ethiopia and the United States. "I read so many articles that noted the marked absence of Asian, Hispanic or black models or designers in other leading fashion shows,' remarked DCFW founder, Ean Williams. "Instead of complaining, I established my own modeling and design production company to redress the imbalance and have focused on the solution by engaging designers and models from every racial group and country interested in participating in DCFW."
