Former CNN News Anchor Carol Lin signs with Paul Schur for PR Representation

Former CNN news anchor and ABC News correspondent Carol Lin has signed with Paul Schur, President of Washington, D.C.,-based PS & ASSOC, to represent her in all areas of public and media relations. Schur is the former FOX News Channel and CNN PR executive and spokesperson, and currently represents Daryn Kagan, creator and host of DarynKagan.com, Brian Kosisky of Kos Films and J. Mark White, President of GardenWise, Inc.

Washington, D.C. (PRWEB) September 26, 2007 -- Paul Schur President, PS & ASSOC, announced today that his firm has signed journalist Carol Lin to its roster of clients. Lin, the former CNN anchor and ABC News correspondent, has retained Schur to represent her in all areas of public and media relations.

Lin served as a CNN news anchor and correspondent from 1998-2006. During her tenure, she anchored the network's morning news show, as well as numerous Prime Time news programs. She traveled the world to report on breaking news stories and events, including the rebuilding of Kosovo in Yugoslavia; the fall of the Taliban in Afghanistan; the siege of Bethlehem in Jerusalem; the Afghan refugee crisis in Pakistan; and the shootings at Columbine High School, among others. Lin was on the air live the morning of September 11th 2001, and was the very first national news anchor to report the news of the terrorist attacks against the United States.

I am pleased to represent a journalist of such high caliber, with such an important message. I've always admired Carol's work, and look forward to promoting her projects worldwide.
Lin is creating unique communities with innovative tools and features for cancer patients and their caregivers, which will include exclusive news reports and stories from Lin via a variety of formats and platforms. Lin's first-hand experience as a caretaker and ultimately a cancer survivor, after the devastating loss of her husband journalist Will Robinson to a rare form of cancer in 2003, give her the unending drive to empower cancer patients with news, information, and important networking opportunities that will change the way many people deal with and live through a cancer diagnosis.

Schur said, "I am pleased to represent a journalist of such high caliber, with such an important message. I've always admired Carol's work, and look forward to promoting her projects worldwide."

Before joining CNN, Lin was with ABC News where she served as a national correspondent and substitute anchor for Good Morning America, reporting also for World News Tonight with Peter Jennings.
