AIRApps.net Announces eCommerce Framework for Adobe AIR Developers

Custom framework, built by AIRApps.net and INM, provides an easy way for developers to add licensing and payment capabilities to AIR applications.

Tallahassee, FL (PRWEB) September 30, 2007 -- AIRApps.net, a leading development community centered on the Adobe® Integrated Runtime (AIR™), today announced its new eCommerce Framework for Adobe AIR developers. As a turnkey eCommerce solution, the Framework allows developers to easily monetize their AIR applications while benefiting from piracy and hacker protection, integrated payments and a standard end-user license agreement.

The AIRApps.net Framework is based on a Flex Builder plug-in that lets developers easily insert a payment widget into their applications. The payment widget then allows developers to collect license fees for their applications before providing users access to them. All backend payment processing and money movement is handled by the AIRApps.net secure, backend infrastructure.

Two of the key components of the Framework, the payment wizard and the plug-in were developed by Integration New Media, Inc. (INM), a Montreal-based company that specializes in creating rich user experiences in both online and offline environments.

A demo of the AIRApps.net eCommerce Framework is available from October 1-3, 2007 at booth #36 of the Adobe MAX Show in Chicago, IL. Also at the show, AIRApps will be seeking suggestions for its new name with a goal of unveiling its new identity at the end of October.
