London, UK (PRWEB) November 6, 2008

Lombardi, a leader in business process management (BPM), today announced that two of its executives will be sharing their BPM know-how, tips and techniques for success at the Object Management Group's (OMG) inaugural BPM Think Tank Europe 2008. The two-day conference will be held on 11 - 12 November, 2008 at the Kasteel de Vanenburg (Vanenburg Castle), in Putten, Netherlands.

Phil Gilbert, Lombardi's president, will chair a roundtable topic entitled "Business Process Governance in the Real World" on the first day of the event. During the roundtable, Mr. Gilbert will lead a discussion about what BPM governance programs organizations have put in place, either for single BPM projects or for company-wide programs, as well as the tangible aspects of what each participant has done to infuse BPM into the culture of their company in a programmatic way. He will also propose five 'Charters for BPM Governance' to help companies as they make the move "from BPM project to BPM program."

Also, Andy Wisbey, Lombardi's director of in-direct channels Europe, will participate on a BPM vendor panel session, entitled "On-Demand BPM" - Beyond the Buzzword: Effects and Impacts on your Business." The session will be moderated by Derek Miers, BPM analyst and CEO of BPM Focus, and will be held on Tuesday, 11 November, 2008 at 16:00 - 17:00 CET. Mr. Wisbey and other panelists will share different points of view on what 'On-Demand BPM' is all about, and how it matters to attendees. Additionally, he will chair a roundtable topic entitled "Barriers to Process Improvement" on the second day of the OMG BPM Think Tank.

During the event, Lombardi staff will be available to showcase its award-winning BPM product portfolio, including Lombardi Blueprint™, an 'on-demand' process-documentation tool that is used to collaboratively map an organization's business processes, identify problems, and prioritize improvement opportunities and Lombardi Teamworks 6 Enterprise Edition, named the "Best Business Process Management" product and recipient of a 2008 Technology of the Year Award by IDG's InfoWorld.

The sessions are open to all conference attendees. For more information about the OMG's inaugural BPM Think Tank 2008 conference and to review the complete agenda, visit http://www.omg.org/bpmeurope-sd. Lombardi is a platinum sponsor of the event.
