BetterThanDiamond.com Doubles its Lab-Grown Yellow Diamond Production for 2008
Due to significant increase in demand, BetterThanDiamond.com is expanding its production of Takara lab grown yellow diamonds for 2008. Production will be doubled, with the focus on large canary yellow diamonds, of 1.50ct and higher in size.
Redmond, WA (PRWEB) January 3, 2008 -- BetterThanDiamond.com announces it will double production of its Takara lab-grown (or cultured) yellow diamonds for 2008 in response to an unexpected increase in demand. Grown in a private lab in Asia, the new yellow diamond production will continue to be sold via its TakaraDiamonds.com subsidiary website.
"We were quite suprised at the upswing in demand for our larger canary yellow diamonds in December," commented BetterThanDiamond.com's president Less Wright. "We've been cutting and distributing lab grown yellow diamonds since 2002, and this was the first time we completely sold out of larger yellow diamonds, and still had more customers on a waiting list for additional diamonds to become available. As a result, production for our yellow diamonds will be doubled for 2008."
Mr. Wright attributes the increase in demand for their lab grown yellow diamonds to two factors -- increased customer awareness of the 'bang for the buck' afforded by lab grown diamonds (often being 1/7th the price of a comparable natural diamond). Secondly, more customers becoming aware of the TakaraDiamonds.com website as it now shows on Google's front page of search results for key search terms such as 'yellow diamonds' and 'cultured diamonds'.
"We are happy with the easier discovery of our TakaraDiamonds website due to the jump in Google search rankings, especially given our complete lack of search engine optimization, but the most important factor is the beauty of our yellow diamonds, in and of themselves. In our opinion, the fancy yellows produced by our Asian lab offer the most desirable pure yellow coloration, as well as significant size, compared to any other lab grown yellow diamonds in the market today," noted Mr. Wright.
