Harper Greer Finances Growth with 'Gift Certificate Futures' Sold to their Customers

Harper Greer has dreamed up an idea for financing their plus size women's apparel business similar to another California industry - the wine business who sell futures in their grapes.

Harper Greer (http://www.harpergreer.com), a retailer of Plus Size Women's Clothing, has raised a substantial amount of cash from their customers to fund a new store location in San Francisco.

Harper Greer offered to sell gift certificates to their top customers that would be redeemable after a new store location was remodeled and open. In exchange for their advance purchase, the customers received a 20% premium on their certificate plus a special dinner hosted at the home of the owners of the clothing stores.

Harper Greer has been in business for nearly 30 years designed and retailing clothing exclusively for the plus size woman. They have developed an extremely loyal and trusting client base as evidenced by their investment in Harper Greer.

They provide a level of individualized service that is rare to find in the plus size market. Free alterations by their in-house tailor, fabric swatches mailed to customers of new styles coming and custom made styles. Their stores are designed with special touches that plus size women have asked for like three-way mirrors in their dressing rooms and luxurious furnishings.

The new store is now open and being enjoyed by Harper Greer customers.
