About the Author: Kevin McCourt began writing a series of "thank-you" notes to his father several years ago in hopes of giving to him one day. The effort was designed to list every reason -- no matter how small -- he ever had to give thanks. Unfortunately, McCourt's dad, Thomas J. McCourt, Jr., died before he could read it. "Dear Dad, Thanks" represents that list, and represents a way for him to make peace.
