'Will Tube For Food' Theme for Rehab

2nd annual tubing park benefit for Rehab's New Beginnings.

Mansfield, OH (PRWEB) January 4, 2008 -- "Will Tube For Food" will be the benefits theme Sunday, January 6, 2007. Along with a two-hour tubing ticket, an additional hour of tubing will be free to each individual who donates at least one non-perishable food item." The food items will be collected at the Parks own ticketing hut, adjacent to the tubing lanes.

The Rehab Center of North Central Ohio's New Beginnings Residential Treatment Program will benefit from this event. Clients of the Program receive group and individual counseling, vocational rehabilitation services, family reintegration services, and are supported in developing an investment in a twelve-step recovery program. "The benefit was a great success last year and we're looking to surpass our collection goal this year," said Nate Wolleson, marketing manager of Snow Trails. "By utilizing the tubing park, we are able to bring added benefit to this safe family fun sport and our community, by offering a free additional hour of tubing for those who choose to support the cause." Wolleson described.

It's the second season for the Snow Trails Vertical Descent Tubing Park. Additions for the 2007-2008 season include an extension to the parks total length by 100 feet, increasing ride time, plus a park-side viewing area complete with picnic tables, benches, and a fire-ring for warming. A 500 foot conveyor carpet lifts riders to the top to choose from up to six different lanes for descent.
