Jackie Pelletier was a success as the keynote speaker for the Nov. 5 HUG (HTE Users' Group, Inc.) Conference held in Williamsburg, Virginia. Pelletier chose "Haulin' Ice and Pullin' Chickens" as the title of her address.
Pelletier's presentation was about getting people to understand their motivations for working where they work and to understand the importance of caring for their work and work environments. The presentation centered on how individuals make differences with every step they take.
Pelletier connects all the persons at the presentation by taking the one thing that all of them have in common - schooling. Everyone can connect and learn from their experiences gained from their schooling.
"We are who we are because of people we have encountered along this journey," explains motivational public speaker Jackie Pelletier. "I use personal stories to set the stage. The one thing we all have in common is the connection to school! Public, private, home schooled, it makes no difference. We are experts because we all survived and learned many, many lessons from our school experiences. I get my audiences to touch base with their often forgotten school experiences and that helps to assist them to understand where they are and why they are doing what they are doing."
A software users group for the PAR Springer-Miller Hospitality Systems, HTE is software used at resorts, hotels, spas and casinos. The conference had 500 attendees this year. The conference chose Pelletier as the keynote speaker in May of 2007.
