Accord Software & Systems Inc, releases new version 4.0 of MPP2PPR software, a freeware utility that allows users to view and share Project plans created using MS-Project and Smartworks Project planner. A new feature to export the Project Planner format files to Ms-project / Primavera format (MPX) is released with this new version.

Accord Software & Systems Inc., a leader in business productivity software for small and medium scale enterprises has released a new version 4.0 of their award winning MPP2PPR. This software is a freeware that allows users to convert MPP files created by MS-Project to PPR format files. These PPR format files can be read using Smartworks Project planner reader. It can also export the PPR format to Ms-project / Primavera format (MPX).

With this utility, non-users of MS-Project can import the MS Project files sent from their customers, partners and vendors without the need of having MS-project installed on their systems. They can also convert their Project Planner files to Microsoft project or Primavera format and send across to their customers, partners and vendors.

The new release has few major enhancements like converting the Project planner files to Microsoft Project files or Primavera files and searching the entire directory for the MPP, PPR files and converting them to PPR, MPX files depending on the user selection.

The Smartworks project planner reader allows the user to read the project plans created using Smartworks Project Planner. The user gets to see all the aspects of the project plan including Gantt charts, Network diagrams, Project metrics, Resource usage, Project Cost and other graphs.
