Toronto, ON (PRWEB) January 7, 2008 -- TSOT Inc., a Toronto-based company building social media applications, is proud to launch the TSOT Ruby on Rails Project Night this Tuesday, January 8th. This premiere event will be hosted by Joey deVilla of Tucows fame, and will feature innovative presentations from developers working in Ruby and Ruby on Rails. TSOT is pleased to bring this networking event to Toronto's rapidly growing tech community, and plans to hold further Ruby on Rails events on a monthly basis.

The first TSOT Ruby on Rails Project Night will be an excellent opportunity for members of Toronto's tech community to interact and investigate the latest in Ruby on Rails development. TSOT's new office space will host the event, and offers incredible views of downtown Toronto as well as the chance to see inside the TSOT developer's office. In addition to our MC Joey deVilla, Tuesday's event will feature an in-depth presentation by developer Andrew Burke on his latest project, as well as members of Unspace who will discuss Ziplocal.com and iphone.thescore.com. With many members of Toronto's tech community in attendance, this is an excellent opportunity to share innovative technologies with the local market and TSOT hopes to foster the unity of Toronto's programming network through these events.

The first TSOT Ruby on Rails Project Night will take place Tuesday January 8th, 2008 at 151 Bloor Street West in Toronto. Doors and refreshments will be at 5:30 p.m., with presentations beginning at 6:00-6:30 p.m. This event is free but space is limited: spots can be reserved by e-mailing corina.newby@tsotinc.com or call (416) 908-6082 for more information. There is currently an open call for future presentations, and all Ruby, Ruby on Rails and Rails programmers are invited to contact TSOT if interested in participating in a future TSOT Ruby on Rails Project Night.
