30 Days To a New You -- Bikram Yoga Inland Empire Joins Workout for St. Jude

The Inland Empire's all new Bikram Yoga studio begins a 30-day challenge to optimal health. Proceeds will benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

(PRWEB) January 8, 2008 -- The Inland Empire's all new Bikram Yoga studio begins a 30-day challenge to optimal health. Proceeds will benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Bikram Yoga Inland Empire run by certified Bikram instructor Diedre Dargan is the only Inland Empire location to offer the authentic Bikram program.

Bikram yoga is an amazing 90-minute hatha yoga class done in a warm room. It is specifically designed to work every muscle, bone, joint, ligament, tendon, gland and organ in the body.

"The 30 day Bikram challenge is designed to help students gain optimal health", says Dargan. "In 30 days students will also have a better assessment of how Bikram yoga works for their body. One of my favorite quotes from Bikram Choudhury, founder of Bikran Yoga, is 'give me 30 days and I'll give you a new life and body' that is what we want to do here in the Inland Empire." Students who participate in the challenge will commit to attending classes for 30, 60 or 90 consecutive days starting January 7 through April 7, 2008.

By teaming up with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, students will have the dual satisfaction of doing something good for themselves as well as helping St. Jude in its ongoing fight against childhood cancer and other catastrophic diseases.

"While Bikram yoga works on improving strength, balance and flexibility, students also will notice their bodies re-shaping, healing, and any tension or stress melting away", adds Dargan. "In each class students can burn up to 750 calories!"

Additional benefits are the prevention of illness and injury, weight loss, and limiting the effects of aging. Students of all levels and ages benefit from this total body/mind work out as is evident by the inspiring presence of Diedre's mother in most of the classes.
