Nirav Savalia, M.D. Named Assistant Clinical Professor at UC-Irvine

California Plastic Surgeon appointed position in Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Irvine, CA (PRWEB) January 9, 2008 -- The Orange County cosmetic surgery office of Finesse Aesthetic & Plastic Surgery is proud to announce that lead surgeon Nirav Savalia, M.D. has been appointed as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of California-Irvine, Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

In this new role, Dr. Savalia will serve as a volunteer faculty member involved in teaching medical residents as well as operating alongside them. Dr. Savalia was selected for the position through a lengthy application process where his medical credentials and training credentials were carefully reviewed before his selection was finalized. Dr. Savalia will begin immediately and will have a hands-on role in the education and training of surgeons in the field of plastic surgery, as well as a mentoring role with other medical students.

Dr. Savalia, lead surgeon, comments that "This is an excellent opportunity for me to continue to contribute to the medical field, in a capacity where I can be involved directly in the education of resident doctors. Nirav Savalia, M.D. is lead surgeon of Finesse Aesthetic & Plastic Surgery in Orange County, California. He specializes in facial surgery, breast surgery, and body reshaping as well as dozens of other cosmetic procedures. Dr. Savalia is an alum of the prestigious program in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the Montefiore Medical Center at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, where he served as chief resident. In 2006 Dr. Savalia was selected to speak at the 28th Annual Meeting of the Los Angeles Society of Plastic Surgeons.
