The Human Capital Institute (HCI), a professional association and educator advancing the science of strategic talent management, announced today that it will hold its third annual National Human Capital Summit in Scottsdale, Arizona, Monday, March 10, through Wednesday, March 12, with a Benefit Golf Tournament on Sunday, March 9.

The leadership conference, where talents meets business strategy, brings together forward-thinking executives, human resources leaders, business line managers, and organizational development visionaries from Fortune 1000 companies, fast-growth small and medium businesses, and government agencies, offering them multiple opportunities to share insights, discuss trends, and learn how others are transforming talent management within their organizations.

HCI’s 2008 summit sessions are divided among three learning tracks: leadership, performance, and talent with additional events on diversity. The leadership track will explore the next practices in talent development, employee engagement, and what it takes to become a talent leader within any organization. The performance track will focus on defining, implementing, and measuring innovated talent management programs and cultivating and spreading high-performance. In addition, the talent track will continue discussions on the next practices of acquiring, developing, and retaining the best talent that will drive business strategy.

“By focusing on three cornerstones of human capital management, the 2008 Summit aims to provide attendees with an opportunity to focus in on areas and issues that are most important their organization,” said Allan Schweyer, HCI’s President & Executive Director. “This year’s conference features some of the world’s most respected thought leaders and corporate executives who will share innovative solutions for evolving talent management challenges.”
