Award recognizes top five fastest growing non-technology firms in the Greater Washington D.C. area.

The Winvale Group, a leading services firm specializing in government procurement contracts and the GSA Schedule program, is named as a Five on Fire award recipient by Washington SmartCEO magazine. The Five on Fire award is a subset of Washington SmartCEO's annual Future 50 award, recognizing five of the fastest growing non-technology companies within the Washington D.C. metro-region. Recipients of SmartCEO awards are nominated, qualified, and finally selected by the publication staff based on both employee and revenue growth over the past three years.

"We are truly honored to be a recipient of such a prestigious award given by SmartCEO magazine," said Kevin Lancaster, managing partner of The Winvale Group. "To be recognized as a top growth performer in the Washington D.C. area is a testament to the commitment to our clients and our constant desire to stay ahead of the curve in the government procurement consulting field. Although we are proud of the growth we've experienced over the past few years, we are poised for even more expansion while adding additional service offerings."

The Future 50 and Five on Fire awards are an annual showcase of companies announced by SmartCEO magazine each January. This year's award recipients employ 21,000 people and are responsible for over $6 billion in annual revenue. The magazine will host a black-tie dinner event on January 17, 2008 in Alexandria, Va. to honor all winners. While a diverse group of companies selected, the common theme among the Five on Fire recipients is how professional mentors have played a role in their current success.

"The Five on Fire program is about celebrating growth, which cannot be done without the help and support of others. Whether it is a parent, business partner, or previous employer, we see the value and impact these individuals have and feel privileged to be a part of the celebration of how far these CEOs and their companies have come," said Craig Burns, publisher of SmartCEO magazine.
