Led by Buckhead, Luxury Home Sales in Atlanta Remain Strong in 2007

The Atlanta real estate market has not suffered as much as people think. Atlanta's luxury home market shows increase in 2007.

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) January 10, 2008 --The luxury home market in Atlanta finished 2007 up 4 percent over 2006 with sales of Buckhead area homes leading the way.

Although some closings for December 2007 have yet to be reported, the sales of single family homes priced $1 million or more increased from 776 in 2006 to 806 in 2007 according to FMLS. Sales of $1 million-plus homes in Buckhead accounted for a whopping 66 percent of the year-over-year increase.
