Abso, a designated agent approved by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), directly accesses the DHS E-Verify system, reducing processing errors in SSN verification, improving the accuracy of payroll and tax reporting, and minimizing exposure to financial penalties. The new system integrates with the Social Security Administration (SSA) databases and the Social Security Number Verification Service (SSNVS), validating social security information and identifying employees with mismatched social security numbers. Employers are proactively notified of employee's work authorization document expiration and changes in an employee's status.
