The solution automates legal "right to work" verification efficiently in Abso's talent management platform and streamlines Form I-9 eligibility confirmation. Abso offers electronic Form I-9 as a stand-alone service or integrated with Abso's Talent Edition™, a web-based software solution that affordably speeds the end-to-end recruitment process.

With automated collection and storage of the completed Form I-9, employers simplify the document collection process and reduce administrative overhead. Abso, a designated agent approved by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), directly accesses the DHS E-Verify system, reducing processing errors in SSN verification, improving the accuracy of payroll and tax reporting, and minimizing exposure to financial penalties. The new system integrates with the Social Security Administration (SSA) databases and the Social Security Number Verification Service (SSNVS), validating social security information and identifying employees with mismatched social security numbers. Employers are proactively notified of employee's work authorization document expiration and changes in an employee's status.

Abso utilizes Form I-9 with revision date June 5, 2007, the only Form I-9 that is currently valid for use as announced by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) on November 7, 2007.
