The Worldwide Web is the home of a great many entrepreneurial ventures, but few online business owners show the drive of Paul Markle, owner of http://www.PJWestSunsetStore.com.
"I was injured in a mining accident and on disability, and I got on the Internet," explains Markle, discussing what first brought him online. "I'd been looking around for a long time, and I came across a selection of products that looked very promising. I decided to give it a try."
He did more than try; Paul selected a vast range of home décor items and garden accessories for his http://www.PJWestSunsetStore.com web site, choosing items with care in order to attract the right audience. "My favorites are the glass figurines and the home décor items," he confesses, cheerfully showing off his products. "I like candles, and I know other people enjoy the scented items. It just made sense to me."
Paul's unfortunate situation presented him with a true opportunity -- one he has striven to capitalize on. "I learned a lot about the business situation online. I was the manager of a store when I was younger, and it brings back memories of that," he says, "but there's a lot more to this than just that. It's enjoyable -- getting your site prepared for selling, choosing items to offer… there's so much you have to do that you can't just jump into it." Heeding the lessons of store owners before him, Paul carefully went about his enterprise, ultimately creating a successful and inviting web site.
As a worldwide business with a small business sensibility, Paul has implemented a blog so that he can interact with his customers, allowing him to tailor his products and presentation to the needs of his audience. View his blog at http://www.PJWestSunsetStore.net
