Americans want information on the latest happenings in the 2008 presidential race -- and it looks like there is at least one Web site that they are swarming to in order to get it.

The Drudge Report (http://www.drudgereport.com), which is published by Matt Drudge, covers news and events in a lively and provocative way. The site, which delivers content to millions of people every day, is a primary source of breaking news for the public as well as key media, political and opinion leaders. As pressure mounted Tuesday surrounding New Hampshire's presidential primary, page views surged to over 24 million, the second highest count of page views in a single day. The average amount of daily page views for the site is generally around 12-15 million. Even on Monday, the day before the New Hampshire primaries, there were over 23 million page views on The Drudge Report. The current record for page views in a single day is 25.1 million page views, which was on Election Day, November 7, 2006.
