Cablevision Systems Corp. today is recognizing TBS IN HD as its HD Channel of the Day, as part of the ongoing "45 Days in HD, on iO TV" countdown. Available to Cablevision's iO TV customers on channel 739, TBS IN HD is the network you can depend on to make you laugh and feel good by connecting you with characters, stories and situations you can relate to. From great light-hearted original programming like 10 Items or Less, Tyler Perry's House of Payne, Bill Engvall and My Boys to the best sitcoms like The Office and Family Guy and comedic movies, TBS makes you laugh out loud. No other provider of HD programming offers you the variety of mood lifting and relatable comedy that you will experience with TBS IN HD.
TBS also keeps the HD action in full swing with 26 regular season MLB games and Division Series playoff coverage.
During the countdown, Cablevision is recognizing each of the 45 high-definition services iO customers receive at no additional cost, including all nine local professional sports teams in HD. Unlike its satellite and phone company competitors, Cablevision does not impose additional fees and charges on customers who want to "see" in HD.
"We are pleased to honor TBS IN HD as today's Channel of the Day in our ongoing '45 Days in HD, on iO TV' countdown," said John Trierweiler, Cablevision's senior vice president of product management. "TBS IN HD is a great example of the quality and diversity of high-definition programming iO customers enjoy."
