Novato, CA (PRWEB) January 14, 2008 -- On January 10th, 2008, Brayton Purcell LLP was selected as the recipient of the 2007 Corporate Community Service award at the annual Heart of Marin Awards, presented by the Center for Volunteer and Nonprofit Leadership of Marin.
The award was presented to Brayton Purcell by emcee Jan Wahl based on the firm's leadership in having "fostered and encouraged volunteerism and philanthropy by its employees," said Linda Davis, executive director of the Center for Volunteer and Nonprofit Leadership in Marin. The employees at Brayton Purcell have demonstrated an exceptional record of giving back to the community through their support of events for a wide variety of local non-profit and civic organizations, having sponsored or participated in numerous events throughout the year.
