The CD catalogs were sent to The Vikings' Season Ticket Owners to thank them for their support and dedication.

The Vikings' project incorporates CataDisc's technology which provides 100% security for the buyer. All of the information, including the merchandise catalog and shopping cart, is embedded on the CD. The customer doesn't even need an Internet connection to shop for Vikings' merchandise, thereby providing total protection from privacy intrusion by "cookies". When the customer is ready to place an order, they can connect to the Internet with "one click" and send the order via an encrypted e-mail for enhanced security.

The Vikings' CataDisc showcases many interactive features that serve to enhance the fan experience. A lead-in video with three decades worth of team highlights brings the disc to life. Along with the intro, the discs contain a collection of season highlights, cheerleader, and mascot videos. The discs are designed to share information regarding ticket sales, allow the fans to order the 2007-2008 Cheerleader calendar, and provide a link for The Vikings' Fan Network website. Many never-before seen photos of the cheerleaders, dedicated fans, and the Vikings' mascot are also available to the Season Ticket Owners via the CataDisc.

To ensure exceptional response rates, the Vikings' discs include an exclusive fan appreciation contest link, encouraging the fans to use the discs and rewarding them for doing so. Over 650, or 5%, of the Season Ticket Holders registered for the event within one week of receiving the discs.

"This is truly an outstanding response rate for a direct mail piece, where a typical response is less than 1%," states Tony Higgins, President of the CataDisc brand of products.

CataDisc catalogs are built using the team and sponsor's existing creative content from either their paper catalog or website, thereby leveraging monies already spent and maintaining brand continuity. Unlike its competitors, CataDisc handles the entire catalog development and production, and can provide a turnkey solution including performing order fulfillment services.
