Barneys New York to discuss how to select the right ecommerce platform and The Timberland Company will share secrets to successful global expansion

Demandware (, developer of the breakthrough On-Demand eCommerce Platform, today announced its participation in the Strategy & Innovation Forum, January 22-24, 2008 at the Royal Pacific Resort in Orlando, Florida. Demandware customers scheduled to deliver presentations include Barneys New York and Timberland. Demandware Vice President of Marketing, Jamus Driscoll, will introduce keynote speaker Bob Myers, SVP of, on Wednesday morning, January 23. During his presentation, Myers will discuss the ins and outs of a growing retail trend: Multi-Media Social Shopping. Timberland and Barneys Sessions to Focus on eCommerce Growth Strategies
During educational sessions on Wednesday, January 23 and Thursday, January 24, executives from Timberland and Barneys New York will provide insights into their successful ecommerce growth strategies.

  •     At 4:00 PM on January 23, Larry Promisel, VP of eCommerce for Barneys New York will participate in a panel discussion with three other retail executives titled "Selecting the Perfect eCommerce Platform for Your Business."
  •     At 1:15 PM on January 24, Troy Brown, Senior Director & General Manager for The Timberland Company, will participate in a session titled "Identifying International Opportunities: Determining When and Where to Go Global."
