Although the Golden Globe Awards ceremony was canceled, celebrities turned out in droves for the pre-events that took place. LA's "Boom Boom Room" hosted two floors of activities and product giveaways for celebrity parents and their children. A-listers including Chris Noth, Bridget Moynahan, Rena Sofer, and Tori Spelling came with family and friends to pick up the trendiest products in the parenting market, including diaper bags, organic clothing and all-natural skin care products for their tots.
Go GaGa's Slide diaper bag was the hit of the day, with celebrity Moms and Dads raving about its ergonomic strap and sleek urban style. Celebrity Dads, such as Kevin Weisman of October Road and Alias, raved about the bag's modern design that wasn't flowery or feminine. "Finally -- something for me!" he exclaimed as he slipped the bag's strap over his head.
Joshua Malina of West Wing appreciated the bag's features, including stroller straps that can be used to carry a yoga mat, or a changing pad that can also provide protection for a laptop. "What a great bag! There's a lot of thought that went into it."
Because they spend so much time on the road, Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott loved the bag's comfort and versatility. As he reached for an olive Slide, Dean exclaimed, "What a terrific bag -- I can't wait to use this. Tori, this will be perfect for your laptop, too!"
Celebrity Moms echoed the Dads' enthusiasm, hoping that Dads will be willing to help if they have a bag that's comfortable and suits their personal style. Yasmin Frazier, wife of Fox Sports and ET Correspondent Kevin Frazier, believes that the Slide will encourage Dads to lend a hand with diaper duty. She said, "Dads need get into the mix -- this bag will help them do that."
Even celebrities who don't have children couldn't resist taking a bag to use for carrying a laptop or toting their gym gear. Kat Dennings chose a black Slide to use when traveling with her computer. "It's so comfortable and it looks great!" she said with a grin.
Kim Porter for P. Diddy, Bridget Moynahan, Angela Bassett, Roger Cross from 24, and Dave Kushner of Velvet Revolver all took home Go GaGa's Slide diaper bags to help them carry their diapers, laptops or dogs about town.
