James Ridinger of Market America Announces Spanish Web Portal Launch

The launch of the portal kicked off Market America's official expansion into the rapidly growing Latin market within the United States.

According to James Ridinger marketamerica.com is the first web portal of its kind, combining news, shopping and search capabilities with a personal touch. In an effort to tap into the growing Latin market in the United States, James Ridinger said Market America launched a Web portal that enables users to view products in Spanish and to learn about the business opportunities available to them through Market America's UnFranchise® Business Development System.

In conjunction with its launch into the Latin market, James Ridinger said Market America also partnered with leading Spanish-language media company Univision to sponsor "Como Ama Una Mujer" a five-part, musical drama miniseries that premiered in late October and featured superstar Jennifer Lopez as executive producer. Market America will have the rights to sell the DVD of "Como Ama Una Mujer" on the company's website with special behind-the-scenes footage and an exclusive interview with Jennifer Lopez included on the DVD. Market America also ran television commercials during primetime programming on Univision beginning this past October and was the first Internet retailer to advertise via banner ads on their website.

James Ridinger said the expansion of Market America into the Latin Market within the United States is a precursor to a launch into Spanish-speaking countries in the coming months.
