Phillipsburg Easton Honda is nearing completion of its new Honda Sales and Service Center. The large-scale project has been ongoing for over a year now. The new, much-anticipated showroom is projected to be unveiled in late July, 2008.
Despite the ongoing construction, Phillipsburg Easton Honda has remained open for business during the ongoing construction. "We can't wait to move into the new showroom because of the extra space for our customers and all of the new technologies we will utilize," says Patty Novak (Internet Sales Manager), "Surprisingly, sales have actually increased considerably during construction." Novak attributes this to rising gas prices, Phillipsburg Easton Honda's reputation for excellent customer service and its high ratio of return customers.
Overall, the new Honda facility will more than double in size, growing from nearly 17,000 square feet to nearly 37,000 square feet. Furthermore, the redesigned Phillipsburg Easton Honda is "Going Green", with a bigger emphasis on energy efficiency. The facility will utilize a new "CleanBurn Multi-fueled Heating System with a Heatway Radiant Floor System." In short, the dealership will become even more environmentally-friendly, since the new system operates with used motor oil to heat the building. This focus on energy efficiency could not have come at a better time.
Some of the new showroom's many features include a new Information Center, a new, completely redesigned Customer Lounge, a new Accessory Parts Display, and a Child Play Area. "We decided to focus on something most dealers nowadays tend to overlook: the comfort of our customers. We have historically and consistently scored higher on customer satisfaction and we plan to stay ahead. We're proud to offer our service customers free loaner vehicles and a free shuttle service to the adjacent Phillipsburg Mall. We know how expensive it can be to rent a car these days. We'll also be adding more comforts, such as free wireless internet, a new, larger TV, snacks, coffee & espresso, and so on," says Dave Jones, General Manager.
One of the biggest expansions is that of Phillipsburg Easton Honda's Service Center. Some of the new Service Center features include a full 19 Service bays with brand new lifts, 5 Body Shop Bays with an Accudraft Paint Booth, a new Two-Car Accuprep 5000 Prep Booth, and 3 Wash Bays with a Recycled Water Wash System. This will be one of the largest and most advanced Service Centers in the region.
Overall, New Jersey's newest Honda Sales and Service center will be able to better-serve its New Jersey and Pennsylvania markets and increase its reach into those markets. Currently, Phillipsburg Easton Honda serves the markets of Hunterdon County, Warren County (including Belvidere, Oxford, Washington, Phillipsburg, and Stewardsville), Bucks County, Northhampton County (including Bethlehem, Easton, Martins Creek, Nazareth, Pen Argyl, Stockertown, Tatamy, and Wind Gap), and others. It also offers a full range of new 2008 and 2009 Honda models, such as the 2008 Accord, Civic, Fit, Odyssey, Ridgeline, CR-V, Element, and even the S-2000 roadster. The "Ride Ready" 2009 Pilot is also in stock now.
Beyond the physical building, Phillipsburg Easton Honda has been increasing its online sales efforts. The Internet Sales Department has been expanding and the dealership's website (http://www.PhillipsburgHonda.com) has been completely redesigned. Expect announcements about the Grand Opening festivities in Radio, Newspapers, Billboards, Online, and on TV in March.
