Airaid.co.uk has launched a new look website with a suite of easy to use tools allowing visitors to search for the best credit cards for them. Filtering by credit profiles, repayment habits and star ratings ensures visitors to the site apply for the right credit card and don't get caught out with cards that end up costing them more than necessary.
"There are so many different credit card offers being advertised at this time of year it's difficult for consumers to know what's right for them" said Graeme Collie, AirAid.co.uk's marketing manager. "Unfortunately, there are too many websites that claim to compare credit cards but only offer the consumer loosely categorised, exhaustive lists of cards from which to choose. By helping visitors to airaid.co.uk identify which type of credit card user they are, we present them with relevant options they can select from."
The redevelopment of the student credit cards section was approached in the same way as the rest of the site with a focus on matching the visitor to the right card. The new filtering tool helps students get the best out of a credit card by looking at a number of different factors including the benefits on offer from the card issuer.
"Although we encourage students to look at the alternatives before borrowing and our advice to them is don't get into debt, in reality it's just not possible sometimes" said Graeme Collie, AirAid.co.uk's marketing manager. "After a great deal of research it also became plainly obvious that the vast majority of websites claiming to offer student credit cards were offering cards that were totally unsuitable and aimed at the standard credit card market.
All the student credit cards listed on airaid are specifically for students."
Two more new tools to the suite include a rate alert and search facility. The comprehensive search facility helps visitors quickly find targeted offers and relevant information while the rate alert email service keeps subscribers up to date with the latest changes in interest rates.
