Holiday-Makers Delight As Accor Contest Offers The Ultimate In Shopping Vacations

France-based Accor Group has captured the attention of would-be travelers with purchasing power with an online contest providing magnificent Asian shopping forays.

Bangkok, Thailand (PRWEB) January 26, 2008 -- The phrase "shop till you drop" never sounded finer to participants in Accor's innovative online contest offering high-end accommodation prizes in some of Asia's best shopping areas.

The French hotel giant has announced that contestants can win stays for up to three nights in Hong Kong, Singapore, or Bangkok - where designer outlets or bustling outdoor markets proliferate.

The top shopping vacation prize is a visit to the Novotel Century Hong Kong hotel valued at US$1,300. Retail heaven is minutes away in the heart of Wanchai, Hong Kong's bustling commercial, shopping and entertainment district.

Hong Kong is a shopper's paradise for clothes, accessories, shoes and furniture. Designer shops and exclusive labels are a dime a dozen, and lots of foreign tourists come to restock and update their wardrobes.

Many local labels also have done well. Lovely rattan and Chinese furniture can be had at bargain prices and many shops sell products especially for export.

Next on Accor's shopping prize list is a stay at Singapore's Novotel Clarke Quay. Shop to your heart's content in one of Asia's most chic cities and stay in style at the newly renovated hotel located in downtown Singapore.

Orchard Road is the epicenter of Singapore's shopping scene. Truly living up to its name "Shoppers paradise," the city-state offers a wide range of goods from Asian traditional crafts and antiques, to European designer goods and ultra-modern electronics.

Being a duty free port, Singapore provides all these goods at a price much lower than their country of origin.

Accor's third prize in the shopping category is a visit to the brand new Pullman Bangkok King Power hotel, attached to the Thai capital's only downtown duty-free mall.

The spacious complex offers high-quality Thai products, including arts and crafts, as well as world-renowned brand names such as Cartier, Chopard, Salvatore Ferragamo, Burberry, and Mont Blanc.

Part of "The Accor Experience" campaign, participants are asked to visit a contest website and choose an array of locations around the globe that best suits their holiday desires. The grand prize is a trip to Paris, France valued at US$4,800.
