Management Strategist Provides Top Ten 'Under-rated' Trends Impacting America

Discover the top trends that are reshaping our culture. However, they are being undervalued by most experts while overlooked by today's organizations.

Knoxville, TN (PRWEB) January 23, 2008 -- A management strategist provides the top ten trends that are reshaping America but are underrated by most organizations. In fact, these trends are being undervalued by most experts while overlooked by today's organizations. However, these trends will eventually impact most Americans in the long term.

American children sing "We are the world," but the world does not listen. Children in foreign lands burn American flags and spread hateful comments about the evil Western ways. Yet, the world has become a dangerous place for all of its inhabitants. From the vicious bombings of the World Trade Center in 1993 to the present terrorists' acts, most individuals cannot fathom what these trends may mean. Intelligent specialists track trends in hopes of preventing more tragedies. Yet, most people do not understand how to deal with the unknown. Daryl Green, a professor at Knoxville College, breaks down these difficult trends so that average citizens can better prepare themselves for the future. Green explains, "The future is very scary to most people. However, the future also means vast opportunities for some." Green assists individuals and organizations in sound decision-making processes. The following are Green's Top Ten Under-rated Trends in America:

1. Low academic performance of American males compared to females.
2. Hispanic population in the South and its domination of low-tech industries.
3. The reshaping academic institutions by non-traditional students.
4. The redistribution of US knowledge through distance learning programs.
5. The demise of the full-time worker in the near future.
6. Organizational loss of corporate knowledge by retiring baby boomers.
7. Dominance of pop culture in all walks of American life.
8. Acceptance of co-habitation as normal in lieu of traditional marriage.
9. Spirituality as a negotiation chip for the emerging workforce of the millennium.
10. Gravitation to a simpler life for most Americans.

Green will be lecturing on these trends during his workshop, "What Does the Future Hold" on January 27 and 28th in Knoxville, Tennessee. This workshop looks at current trends, discusses their impacts, and provides strategies for dealing with the future on an organization as well as a
personal basis. Green explains, "People need tools to understand the future and how to prepare for it. My workshop is one place where individuals can learn these tools." In his workshops, Green uses interactive teaching techniques to engage his audience.
