Newly introduced Media Gateway Platform enhances scalability and flexibility while reducing development time from months to weeks.

TelcoBridges - a global provider of telecom platforms for developers of carrier-grade VoIP and TDM solutions for the media gateway, switching, and value-added services markets - announced today that PhoenixSoft, a pioneering provider of next-generation communications platforms for providers of converged networks, has selected TelcoBridges' Tmedia TMG3200 to expand its portfolio of solutions. PhoenixSoft will integrate the TMG3200 Media Gateway Platform with its Cirrus softswitch solution to further enhance the versatility of its solutions.

Since 1985, PhoenixSoft has developed a long and distinguished track record within the telecommunications industry as an innovative provider of telephony solutions for converged networks. The company provides enhanced switching through its Cirrus Softswitch, convergent billing and a Retail Web Portal for service providers, carriers and SMB enterprises. In conjunction with TelcoBridges' TMG3200 and Toolpack API, PhoenixSoft delivers carrier-grade voice quality, reliability and scalability through its customized real-time multimedia telephony systems.

"We've selected the TMG3200 based on its clear performance leadership in I/O flexibility, VoIP channel density and field upgradeability," said Paul Amick, PhoenixSoft co-founder. "Moreover, by utilizing TelcoBridges' Toolpack API C++ development tools, our development and deployment timeframe has been dramatically reduced from months to weeks. TelcoBridges has clearly demonstrated that their development tools and media gateway products provide an unprecedented feature set, along with the carrier-grade reliability and superior support we demand."

TelcoBridges' Tmedia TMG3200 series empowers system integrators and developers with a flexible and scalable platform capable of meeting the most demanding service provider requirements. Its modular architecture supports growth up to 2,048 universal VoIP channels, and up to 2,048 IVR channels, and as many as 64 T1/E1/J1 ports, 3 DS3s or 1 OC3/STM-1. Available in a 1U form factor, as the TMG3201, and a 2U form factor offering redundant power supplies, as the TMG3202, both units are available for AC or DC power.

"For more than 20 years, PhoenixSoft has proven itself to be a true pioneer when it comes to integrating leading-edge telephony technologies into robust and reliable carrier-grade communications platforms," said Gaetan Campeau, President of TelcoBridges. "We are delighted to be selected as their media gateway technology partner, and we look forward to the possibilities that are now available to service providers and carriers as a result of this powerful relationship."
