Patient flow software firm recognized for remarkable growth; continues momentum with international expansion.

Premise Corporation, a leading provider of software solutions to optimize patient flow, ended fiscal 2007 with record growth, marked by a significant increase in clients live on the Premise Patient Flow Platform from its prior year, and sizeable growth in its employee team, including the appointment of two top executives to its leadership team. In addition, Premise expanded internationally via strategic innovation partnerships with Singapore General Hospital, one of the largest acute tertiary hospitals in the world, as well as Singapore-based RFID provider CADI Scientific.

Additional indicators of the company's growth and industry recognition in 2007 that reinforce the company's position as the leader in optimizing patient flow include:

  • 260% increase in annual revenue
  • $6.3 million in Series B financing from various venture capital groups and private investors
  • Five-year growth of 2,265%, ranking Premise as the 71st fastest growing technology company in North America in Deloitte's 2007 Technology Fast 500, and as the 3rd fastest growing technology company in Connecticut on Deloitte's 2007 CT Technology Fast 50
  • Outstanding client ratings in the KLAS 2007 Top 20 Year-End Report Card, with top rankings among competitors in several key categories such as "100% of clients would buy again", "Vendor executive involvement", "real problem resolution", "delivery of new technology", and multiple product quality ratings
  • Winner of Microsoft Healthcare Users Group (MS-HUG) 2007 Annual Innovation Award
  • Recognition by Microsoft as a Certified Gold Partner and a key Independent Software Vendor

Premise completed 2007 by achieving record-breaking growth in the fourth quarter, with many of the nation's top hospitals choosing the Premise Patient Flow Platform - often replacing legacy bed tracking software due to the clear advantages Premise provides. In the fourth quarter alone, several hospitals joined the Premise client community, including Singapore General Hospital, UMass Memorial Medical Center and Ochsner Health System. Among the many hospitals that implemented Premise were Children's Hospital Central California, Methodist Healthcare System in Memphis, Tennessee, Medical University of South Carolina Hospital, the VA Hospital of Pittsburgh and UCLA Medical Center.

Premise is poised to continue its momentum into 2008 with new product offerings and platform enhancements, strategic partnerships and exceptional additions to its executive team. The recent additions of Craig Gravina as Chief Technology Officer and Jim Maher as Chief Sales Officer position Premise to continue to excel at meeting the needs of clients and prospective partners. Mr. Gravina, who joined Premise in July of 2007, has a successful history of creating and commercializing innovative and disruptive technology products. Mr. Maher, joining Premise in December, brings 17 years of industry experience including sales leadership positions at McKesson Corporation, ChartOne, and HPR, Inc. Additional executive milestones in 2007 included the appointment of Premise Chairman and CEO Eric Rosow to the board of the Connecticut Technology Council.

"In 2007, Premise Corporation once again proved that when we couple our advanced Patient Flow product offerings with the highly skilled professional services and support resources required, we can grow significantly while still maintaining a steady position as the market leading provider of clinically focused patient flow solutions," stated Mr. Rosow. "The considerable number of premier hospitals now using Premise, as well as our continued investments in infrastructure, resources and product development, reinforce our commitment to helping hospitals create better patient experiences in 2008 and beyond."
