Saying "I Do" on the Waterfront in Kirkland, Washington is a Sweet Deal: Why Go to Vegas

For many couples, the excitement of getting engaged can quickly become overshadowed by the stress and expense of planning a wedding. On February 14th, couples can make saying "I Do!" or "I Do Again!" stress-free by participating in the annual "Tie the Knot on Valentines Day" in Kirkland, WA offered by KirklandWeddings.com. Couples can create an intimate memory in a quiet waterfront city instead of experiencing the chaos and impersonal service of a Las Vegas Chapel.

Kirkland, WA (PRWEB) January 24, 2008 -- For many couples, the excitement of getting engaged can quickly become overshadowed by the stress and expense of planning a wedding. But on February 14th, couples can make saying "I Do!" or "I Do Again!" stress-free by participating in the annual "Tie the Knot on Valentines Day" in Kirkland, offered by KirklandWeddings.com.

For only $350, the wedding package includes accommodations for up to thirty guests, preset flower arrangements and decorations, recorded wedding music, a 5 X 7 photo taken by a professional photographer, a keepsake bouquet and boutonniere, a day-of, on-site professional wedding coordinator, who assists to ensure a memorable event, and an experienced, non-denominational Justice of the Peace to make sure the "I do" is not only romantic but legal too.

KirklandWeddings.com, the group offering the special Valentine promotion, is a group of local businesses that work together to help couples create their perfect Kirkland destination wedding. Working collaboratively, they provide the services and resources necessary to ensure every element including planning, coordination and day of activities are exactly what the couple wants.

Nicolle Osborn, the Parks Coordinator for the City of Kirkland, is one of the members of KirklandWeddings.com who understands the importance of providing these services collaboratively.

"We realized we could provide more comprehensive services and resources so the person planning the wedding wouldn't be overwhelmed with the small details. They've got enough to focus on without worrying about where their guests will stay, where they can find a caterer or florist, or where they can hold their rehearsal dinner so it is all centrally located to the actual wedding ceremony." The City of Kirkland, which is receiving phone calls from couples not only in the State of Washington, but across the country, is grateful to have KirklandWeddings.com to point their callers in the right direction.

"We are so happy to have KirklandWeddings.com provide the services and resources couples need to get married in Kirkland." says Sheila Cloney, City of Kirkland's Special Events Coordinator. "We hear from couples every day who want to come to Kirkland to get married but have no idea how to start the planning process. This group makes it so much easier for these couples to plan the perfect wedding weekends, or longer, so when they arrive, they can simply focus on enjoying our beautiful waterside parks, indoor and outdoor attractions, restaurants, shops and, of course, accommodations."

Due to the popularity of the first Valentine's Day Wedding Special in 2006, it is important that interested couples register early to increase their chance of reserving a ceremony time before they book up. More information and the registration form are available online at www.kirklandweddings.com. The deadline for registration is February 1. In addition, an official marriage license from the couple's local county is required for participation and should be provided to KirklandWeddings.com no later than February 5. The officiating Justice of the Peace will assist with preparation of legal marriage license paperwork.
