Development Dimensions International (DDI) was recognized in Bersin & Associates recent study, High-Impact Leadership Development, as a top leadership development provider. The study, which covered all aspects of the leadership development market, identified the six best practices in leadership development that yield significant business impact.
“DDI is a powerhouse in leadership development,” Josh Bersin, president of Bersin & Associates. “In our research process, we discovered that DDI customers have adopted many of the six best practices that lead to success in leadership development and deliver measurable business value.” Among the six best practices is the use of defined leadership competencies, the targeting of multiple levels of leadership, the adoption of comprehensive learning approaches, and the integration of leadership development with other talent management processes.
Bersin & Associates, an independent research and advisory firm focused on enterprise learning and talent management, based the study on surveys of almost 800 companies, 40 in-depth interviews with managers responsible for leadership development, and briefings with 14 leadership development providers.
The study recognized DDI for a wide range of strengths, including its ability to support global enterprises with an expansive content library, available in multiple languages and customized for different business cultures, and associated delivery and administrative services. The study also noted DDI’s breadth of offerings, including custom content, coaching, facilitation, train-the-trainer, and assessments, as well as services in the areas of recruiting, performance management and succession planning.
“Bersin & Associates has discovered that companies can obtain dramatic business results with a strategic approach to leadership development and focus on key best practices,,” Rich Wellins, Senior Vice President at DDI, said. “DDI takes great pride in knowing that our offerings align well with these practices and support our customers’ success.”
