"A big part of that stems from my girlfriend," admits Screeton, whose web site is primarily targeted toward women. "That's why I selected the avenue I did -- it's more for her."

"More for her" is certainly an accurate description of http://www.LiticiasTreasures.com, which carries a surprisingly comprehensive catalogue of skin care and aromatherapy products. "My thought originally in opening the store was that my girlfriend could help me run it, and I wanted to get her started first," says Screeton, who was still active in the process of product selection. "She's knowledgeable about perfumes and designer perfume bottles, and she helped select the different products on my site. I'm currently carrying about a thousand products, with access to ten thousand."

Ken's girlfriend isn't the only one assisting him with the products; his customers have a say as well, thanks to his new blog at http://www.liticiastreasures.info, where Screeton can interact with buyers and discuss their opinions on his merchandise. "I'm currently in the process of revamping my site. I started out with some suggestions and recommendations from different people I talked to, and now I'm making changes and tweaking things as I move forward."

What does the future hold for Screeton? "I have plans to open several more sites, and I've already reserved some domains for the future. I contemplated sporting goods, tools, pet supplies -- I think I eventually want to get to those types of products with other stores." Hopefully it doesn't take long for Ken to add more of his signature style to the online marketplace.
