Maly Ly Joins Bonfire Communications as Campaign Manager

Product marketing and entertainment expertise adds new edge to communications agency.

Bonfire Communications, an organizational communications agency specializing in employee engagement and strategy implementation, announced that Maly Ly has joined the company as a campaign manager in the San Francisco office.

Ly brings more than six years of marketing communications, branding, product marketing and advertising experience to the role. Most recently, Ly worked in experiential marketing, promotions and sponsorships at Nintendo, where she managed multimillion-dollar experiential marketing programs, large consumer events and sponsorships like the Nintendo Wii Experience and NASCAR Sponsorship to promote Nintendo's Wii and DS products.

Prior to Nintendo, Ly was an associate product marketing manager at LucasArts, where she developed marketing strategies and launch programs for best-selling Star Wars franchises and next generation Star Wars products on the Sony PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360 platforms. She also developed promotions programs with external partners such as Microsoft, Nintendo, LEGO and Kellogg's. Throughout her marketing and promotions career with Eidos, Ubisoft and NGI, Ly created and implemented product marketing and promotions plans for popular interactive entertainment titles such as Tomb Raider, Hitman, Splinter Cell and Prince of Persia, and leading consumer products and media companies such as Toyota Scion, AOL, AMD, NVIDIA, Sony Ericsson and MTV.
