Dan Nardone, President of Nardone Wealth Management, LLC in Palm Beach Gardens Florida, and his father, Rudy Nardone, shot a final round of 61 to become the 2007 National Father & Son Team Classic Champions.

Palm Beach Gardens, FL (PRWEB) January 26, 2008 -- Dan Nardone, President of Nardone Wealth Management, LLC in Palm Beach Gardens Florida, and his father, Rudy Nardone, shot a final round of 61 to become the 2007 National Father & Son Team Classic Champions.

The tournament was played July 19 - 21 on thirteen different courses in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and had over 1600 players. It was the Nardone's first trip to the event which included players from over 44 states and 8 different countries.

Dan Nardone said, "This is without question the best event I've ever played in. I've been playing golf for a long time and have played in many tournaments, and this one is the premiere national father & son tournament."

Dan Nardone is an Investment Advisor in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida and is a member at PGA National Golf Club, the host site of the PGA tours Honda Classic. His father, Rudy, is retired and resides in Newton, Massachusetts where he is a member of Wayland Country Club.

Dan said, "My father and I came in with a strategy. We knew we couldn't win the event on day one, but we could certainly lose it. We played conservative on day one opening with a 5 under par 67. We opened it up a bit on day two, with an 8 under 64, and had the throttle wide open on day three, closing with an 11 under par 61. The strategy and execution was perfect. We can't wait to come back next year to defend our title." The Nardone's finished at 24 under par, giving them the championship in the Johnson division.

The tournament is a place for fathers and sons from around the world to come and spend a week together competing and making friends with other competitors. The camaraderie throughout the event is its backbone, but make no mistake about it, the teams are here to win.
