Realtors from around the country will travel to Austin (TX) the first week in February to attend The Institute for Luxury Home Marketing’s (ILHM) two day training luxury home program being hosted by Stewart Title. The training is the first step in earning the prestigious Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS) designation.
The training is also good for two elective credits toward the National Association of Realtors’ Certified Residential Specialist designation (CRS) and counts for 15 hours of Texas continuing education credit.
“The training focuses on working with buyers and sellers in the top 10% of the residential market,” says Institute founder Laurie Moore-Moore. “This is especially timely since the very top of the market remains healthy in the majority of metro areas. The luxury segment is the good news story in real estate today.
“Our thousands of members on four continents understand the special needs of the affluent, have the special skills necessary to market unique luxury properties, and are prepared to deliver the level of service demanded,” added Moore-Moore.
The Institute’s CLHMS designation is the only designation approved as the official luxury designation for a number of national real estate brands.
The two day course includes information on luxury residential trends, demographics of the luxury buyers and seller, special competencies required to serve the affluent, and exclusive research information on how to recognize and best serve the six key categories of the wealthy.
