Scala, the leading provider of end-to-end solutions for the digital signage market, today announced the 104m2 AD-XXL Videoscreen located on one the busiest intersections of Berlin City-West continues to dominate the city landscape after 4 years of operation.
Situated at Kufürstendamm 225, right at the 5-star Swiss Hotel, on one of the most pulsating intersections of the Berlin City-West, this electronic giant poster and Berlin latest OOH highlight is on the Joachimsthaler Platz. Visible from the Joachimstaler Straße and the Kurfürstendamm and only a stone's throw away from the central station "Zoo-logischer Garten, this 104m² (13 X 8 meters) videoscreen is frontal/oblique to the traffic flow.
The screen displays a loop of advertisements from major brands including Nokia, Apple, Bosch, Continental Airways, Esso, IKEA, Gillette, Sony Ericsson, T-Com, Versatel and more. Each ad is 10, 20 or 30 seconds long with 1440 rotations per day, every minute around the clock.
"Having a wide range of media file formats is essential to accept last minute jobs for our customers. Scala InfoChannel enabled us to accept spots less than 15 minutes before their first broadcast," says Mr. Joerg Reinich, principal of AF-FIX GmbH, owner of AD-XXL. "The intuitive scheduling and integrated scripting allowed us to offer complex broadcast plans for international advertising campaigns, serving a multitude of individual spots for every client."
"Being able to host every component ourselves, we were able to integrate the entire Scala InfoChannel platform seamlessly with our internal network," says Andreas Levers, AF-FIX Werbegesellschaft GmbH
"The complete project was based on the extensive planning and consulting by Scala Certified Partner Thomas Eschenburg of Atelier Eschenburg (http://www.eschenburg.com). His many years of working with Scala InfoChannel helped us service our client's needs with high-quality solutions from day one. Mr. Eschenburg's interpretation of the network requirements, the planning of reserves and the choice of high-quality components led to the long-life success of this installation," says Joerg Reinich, principal, AF-FIX GmbH.
