Just acquired a Marcus & Company Victorian silver basket circa 1910. Perfect for a cherished bridal gift that will certainly become an heirloom, Nelson & Nelson Antiques acquired this Marcus & Company Silver Basket only recently. It is rarer indeed to find such a delicate piece of silver in such excellent condition.
The Victorian Basket measures over 17" long over the the handles and weights approximately 32 ounces. It is marked under the base with the mark of Marcus & Coo, the words Sterling and New York and pattern number 1132X. It is nearly impossible to find such a piece in any antiques store. It is a rare find indeed.
