BTI Systems Appoints Allan M. Kline as Independent Board Member

BTI Systems, a global supplier of Optical Edge networking solutions for the delivery of gigabit services, today announced the appointment of Allan M. Kline as an independent board member. A seasoned chief financial officer, Allan brings more than 35 years of experience in financial strategy, planning and control to the company. As an independent board member Allan will be working closely with BTI to support its financial and corporate development strategies as well as to further develop the company's global structure.

Allan is uniquely qualified to support BTI's financial strategies having held six CFO positions at public and private companies in the telecom, wireless and networking industries. He has lead implementations of Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) 404 compliance at his last two companies including his most recent position where Allan was the CFO of Skyworks Solutions, Inc. Prior to this he was CFO for Acterna Corporation.

In his various roles, Allan has gained extensive expertise in raising capital through public debt and equity markets, developed a successful track record with acquisitions and divestitures and has listed multiple companies on the NYSE and NASDAQ. He has significant experience as a member of an M&A advisory firm and lead a small private equity firm. Allan has also served on the Board of two public companies, Acterna and CrossComm, where he was Chair of the Audit Committee. He began his career with Arthur Young & Company (now Ernst & Young) where he was an audit partner.
