Vistaar Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of analytical software for pricing, product marketing, and sales operations groups today announced that on the heels of strong growth, the company has expanded its management team with key strategic appointments in Marketing, Presales and Sales organizations.

Jason Robert will head the company's marketing and alliance operations. Mr. Robert has nearly fifteen years experience in the enterprise software industry. Mr. Robert succeeds Bala Srinivasa, a noted expert in the pricing field, who remains a key member of Vistaar's executive team focusing on new markets for Vistaar's core technology. Mr. Robert's background includes senior presales, product marketing, and strategy roles at Servigistics, Viewlocity, and i2. He served in the United States ARMY and holds a BS in Quantitative Business Analysis from Louisiana State University.
"Vistaar added seven new blue chip customers in 2007. It was an outstanding year for us," said Robert. "Clearly price and margin management is a critical competency for large organizations, even more so given the looming economic recession. Vistaar's customers are increasing price and margin realization and gaining a greater share of the industry profit pool in their respective industries."
Vistaar promotes Usha Iyer to Vice President - Presales. Since joining Vistaar in 2001, Ms. Iyer has played key roles in early product development and solution delivery. Ms. Iyer was an early member of the engineering team at Think Systems (acquired by i2 Technologies in 1997). "Usha has always been a tremendous asset to our team," said Tungare. "Our clients consistently praise her work and remark how her technical and business expertise are invaluable to improving their price management processes and achieving their goals."
Andy Hunt, Vice President of Sales - East, will lead the company's eastern regional sales team. Mr. Hunt is a fifteen-year industry veteran, during which time he has helped launch and grow several sales organizations. Prior to joining Vistaar, he worked with other early stage companies such as ProQuest, Information Advantage, Portera Systems and Vendavo. "Andy has played a key role in several of Vistaar's customer successes over the past year," said Tungare. "His depth of knowledge and experience in this market provides great insight to executives exploring new price and revenue management opportunities."
