Salem, NH (PRWEB) February 1, 2008 -- Mosaic Technology, Inc.(Mosaic), headquartered in Salem, NH, announced an agreement to resell ExaGrid Systems of Westborough MA (ExaGrid) disk based backup solution. The partnership will be formally launched with an end-user focused lunch and learn at Ruth Chris Steakhouse in Boston.

ExaGrid systems are cost effective, scalable disk based backup solutions that work with existing backup software applications. ExaGrid combines high quality SATA drives, compression, and byte-level data de-duplication for fast and reliable backups and restores.

ExaGrid uses standard data compression for the most recent backups and byte-level data de-duplication for all previous backups which minimizes disk space for backups. ExaGrid's byte-level data de-duplication technology stores changes from backup to backup instead of storing full file copies. This unique approach reduces disk space requirements by at least 20 to 1, delivering substantial cost savings and performance at 30% the cost of standard SATA storage.
